Holiday MemoryLast year, six days before Christmas, I was sitting on the couch watching TV with my cat Dreamer. My mom had been gone most of the morning, nobody really paid attention to where she was going, so when she came home everyone got a surprise. When my mom entered the house, she has leading a German Shepard on a leash into the kitchen. She called me and my little brother, Leo, into the kitchen. We were so surprised and happy, no one could speak. My mom asked me what I wanted to name him, and I said Rex. As we were petting and loving on Rex, we heard a little bark coming from the front room. Everyone rushed to go see what had made that sound. When we entered the room, right next to our Christmas tree, was a little brown box. As we got closer to the box, the barking got shriller. Leo opened the box and inside was a small black puppy. The puppy was so happy to see us, he piddled on the blanket on the bottom of the box. My dad asked Leo what he wanted to name the dog. Leo chose the name BooBoo because we had seen the Yogi Bear movie the day before. That is my favorite Christmas and holiday memory.
